Ericsson Spider Computer - Compact PC-Man
In addition to completely deactivated Spider Computer demonstrated a similar, but somewhat larger and not a "spider" device. It has already, at least, capable of creating a projection of the keyboard on the table. Obviously, Ericsson is working in this direction and plans to implement such technologies. Perhaps a simplified version of Spider Computer will appear before 2020. Even if it is not a miniature, still, its dimensions - much less than today's laptops.
A Half Ton man has died
A half-ton man has died of heart failure despite a rescue attempt that saw his bedroom wall demolished so he could be taken to hospital on the back of a lorry. The 47-year-old from Juarez, northern Mexico, was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital. An enormous coffin had to be constructed and José Luis Garza's burial was delayed as cemetery workers enlarged the grave.

Mr Garza, who weighed 70stone 10lb, had appealed on television for help tackling his weight problem - following the example of the world's fattest man, fellow Mexican Manuel Uribe of nearby Monterrey. Mr Garza said he had always struggled with his weight but fell into a cycle of depression and overeating nine months ago after his parents died within two weeks of each other. Mr Garza's condition deteriorated over the weekend as he struggled to breathe and eat. Relatives criticised officials for failing to move him to a hospital before he became critically ill. 'If he had received support at the time he asked for it, he would still be with us,' said his brother Pedro. State officials argued there was little they could do.

'The attention he would have received at a hospital would have been the same he received at home,' said a spokesman for the state health department. 'Moving a patient of that magnitude is very difficult.' About 150 friends and family waited for more than four hours at a cemetery while carpenters built a special coffin for Mr Garza's burial. 'The family wanted to cremate him but there wasn't an adequate oven for someone his size,' funeral home worker Maribel Cantu said. 'He is the biggest man we have buried.' Mr Garza's coffin arrived at the cemetery in a white van and 20 relatives and workers lowered it to the ground. Mr Uribe, whose record weight of 87stone 12lb earned him a place in the 2008 Guinness Book of Records, had tried to help Garza by sending him kiwis, grapefruit, pears and a protein supplement. Mr Uribe's fiancée, Claudia Solis, delivered the food on Friday evening.

A Natural Root Bridge Across a Valley at Cherrapunji, India — Cherrapunjee is a valley in North Eastern part of India, where the rain lashes the entire place 5 months in a year. Due to heavy rains as well as cyclones the locals in this place have developed in genuine way of building a bridge across valleys. The process is that the root of a rare Indian rubber tree is made to grow in a particular direction with the support of the bamboos and a constant watch is kept on the growth. As the root further grows, more and more bamboos are added to provide direction so that it reaches the other side of the valley crossing dangerous rivers below. These roots grow very slowly, at times a few millimeters in a few months and hence a small bridge of say about 40 feet takes a period of 23 years. This being the case, imagine how much time would have taken to build a double decker bridge as shown in the picture.
The locals say that it has taken 500 years to form this bridge that can withstand 90 people at a time without any sign of fear. Since the roots are continuously growing with their other end firmly set the strength of the bridge only gets enhanced as the days pass by. This bridge receives a good amount of tourists who have to trek quite a distance. Now this has become a trend in that area where the present generation creates a facility so that the next generation can use the same to cross the valleys in Meghalaya.
